Bio
Zoee Rasso is a 21-year-old senior at Columbus State University, graduating with Honors and a BFA concentrated in painting. Continually inspired by birds, Zoee’s work seeks to inspire care for the environment through
their stylized depiction. Drawing from environmental history, cultural symbolism, and personal memory, her work investigates how nonhuman life is aestheticized, overlooked, and remembered within contemporary visual culture.
During Zoee’s time at Columbus State, she has completed
four studio internships with CSU faculty, studied abroad in both Japan and Italy, and completed a summer residency at Penland School of Craft. She has also had her work exhibited at the 2026 International Printmaking Exhibition, the Highland Galerie, and held a solo exhibition at Oxbow Meadows.
